Sean Diddy created a massive stir in the entertainment industry after being arrested on alleged charges of s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for pr*stitution. A year before these charges were pressed against him, Sean Combs raised multiple headlines when his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against him in 2023 alleging r*pe, abuse, and s*x trafficking.
Although the lawsuit was eventually resolved the next day after both parties reached an unrevealed settlement, the allegations reminded the fans of a disturbing incident narrated by rapper Yung Joc. When Jasiel Amon Robinson aka Yung Joc appeared on a chart with VladTV, he hinted at Sean Diddy’s controlling behavior with the Me & U singer.
Yung Joc is a witness to Sean Diddy’s problematic relationship with Cassie Ventura
Cassie Ventura was in an on-again, off-again relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs from 2007 to 2018. However, the relationship was marred with controversies after multiple serious allegations were placed against the Bad Boy Records founder.
Even before the allegations came out, the fans witnessed numerous details that hinted at a problematic bond between the two. Many clips that resurfaced almost confirmed that Cassie Ventura never had a good time on this ship (see The Mirror).
But the 2022 interview of Yung Joc with VladTV was a massive shocker as the It’s Goin’ Down rapper narrated how Sean Diddy once made an outrageous demand to his ex-girlfriend before him. If his words are to be believed, then Diddy allegedly asked Cassie Ventura to shave the side of her head after watching a woman with similar style at the club.
I was watching Puff … Puff jumped up. Me and Cassie sitting next to each other, my wife right here, Cassie right here. The n—- jumped off the bar, came over there and said, ‘Yo, yo Cassie. Tomorrow, I want you to shave the side of your head.’
Yung Joc, who has been associated with Diddy for many years, was stunned at the disturbing demand and asked Ventura if she was really going to do it- “I said, ‘What the f**k kind of request is that?’”
Shockingly the Step Up 2 actress replied- “Whatever Sean wants I’m gonna do.” and eventually fulfilled her then-boyfriend’s wish. Later, Cassie Ventura tried to clarify to VIBE that it was her choice to shave her head, but after the 2023 lawsuit was filed by her against Diddy, it is highly debatable.
The footage released by CNN made it worse for Sean Diddy
As if the allegations made against Sean Combs were not enough, CNN released surveillance camera footage in May 2024 that proved everything. The clip obtained by CNN was from 2016 and it featured Diddy physically assaulting Cassie Ventura at the presently-closed InterContinental Hotel.
Cassie Ventura accused P Diddy of r*pe and s*xual abuse for years in her lawsuit but the latter repeatedly denied everything. However, after the clip showed the reality, Diddy issued a public apology through a now-deleted Instagram video (via The Mirror) stating- “My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now.”
However, matters only worsened after that and Sean Diddy was ultimately arrested in September 2024 on multiple charges. After his arrest, a wave of lawsuits came out against the rapper. Although Diddy has pled not guilty, he has been denied bail twice. More details are expected to come out from his trial, which is set to start on May 5, 2025.
