‘Why would you let her out of the house like that?’ people cry as woman shows pal’s dress that looks like ‘a bedsheet’

A WOMAN has left web users with their jaws on the floor after showing off her pal’s ill-fitting outfit.

Blonde beauty Nina Woolley took to Instagram to share a short clip of her mate Laura Morgan’s bizarre dress for the evening – but the response wasn’t the one the duo might have hoped for.

Mate Laura was slammed for her ill-fitting outfit – which trolls reckoned looked like ‘a bedsheet’[/caption]

The now-viral clip, which has racked up an astronomical 4.1million views in less than a week, sees Nina revealing the outfit she was rocking.

According to the blue-eyed stunner, who was sporting a figure-hugging number in orange, this was her ”risky dress”.

However, Laura soon proved that her pal’s outfit was more modest than she’d thought.

Posing on a balcony of their accommodation, the ”curvy and confident” fashionista proudly showed off her look for the night.

This consisted of an unusual wrap-around maxi dress with a thigh-high slit on one side and the sexy off-shoulder detailing.

The skimpy dress, made of clingy material, also boasted a plunging neckline, with the top half barely covering one of Laura’s breasts.

”We listen we don’t judge,” mate Nina wrote in the caption, as hundreds of horrified viewers flooded to comments to share their brutal verdict of the outfit.

One person was totally baffled – and even reckoned that Nina should’ve intervened.

”Nah why you let her out the house like that?”

Someone else agreed, adding that the so-called ”dress” belonged in the bedroom.

”Your friend is wearing a bed sheet and needs fashion advice.”

”It genuinely doesn’t look good tho,” chimed in a third.

”Friends don’t let friends hang out like that. Literally and figuratively,” a mean troll commented.

”Not even being a hater, just one good blow of the wind and you’re on the registry girlfriend,” an Instagram user warned.

How to look chic on a budget

Fashion stylist Gemma Rose Breger, and beauty journalist Samantha Silver revealed how you can make your outfits elevated without spending hundreds of pounds.

  1. Don’t ever spend on designer denim: River Island ”always has such a great selection of fashion-forward jeans that follow the current trends”. The high street retailer offers a great range of sizes to fit UK 6 – UK 18, and three leg lengths – and prices start from an affordable £25.
  2. There are no rules for jewels: ”Pick up something at a car boot sale, or charity shop, scroll on Vinted & eBay, snap up something from the clothing section in your local supermarket when doing the food shop or check out high street clothing stores.”
  3. Don’t forget the pre-loved sites: With a rising number of second-hand sites, such as Vinted and Depop, there’s no excuse for not buying – or selling – pre-loved garments. Gemma, for instance, has managed to get her hands on chic Chanel sunnies for a mere £17.

PLT rebrand fail

Speaking of outfit disasters, one unlucky PrettyLittleThing fan was recently left mortified by her online haul – with people saying she looked like a ”crumpled up McDonald’s bag”.

Muinat, a fashion fan who is based between Manchester and London, ordered herself what she thought would be a stylish co-ord from the brand’s new collection.

But when the plus-size outfit arrived and she tried it on, she was left totally baffled.

Not only did she feel as though she looked dressed and ready to head to a farm, but others have claimed she looks more like a ”crumpled up McDonald’s bag”.

It comes after the fast fashion brand unveiled its ‘most ambitious’ rebrand since launching in 2012.

But shoppers are not happy with many of the changes, including the prices – and the brand has already been slammed for charging £70 for ‘plastic’ clothes.

The brand has achieved global success with over 18 million Instagram followers and has collaborated with some of fashion’s hottest stars, including Miley Cyrus, Rita Ora, and Nicki Minaj as well as Love Islander turned businesswoman Molly-Mae Hague.

PrettyLittleThing claim the rebrand, titled A LEGACY IN PROGRESS, is the result of months of candid conversations and valuable feedback from loyal customers, following founder Umar Kamani’s return to the helm in September 2024.

He said: “I think what happened with the brand for a couple of years is we stopped listening. And that’s where the brand lost its identity.

“In coming back, what I’ve tried to do is to clean everything up and redefine ourselves.”
