Finally, after weeks of wondering, we now know what’s going on between Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas. Fans have wondered, “Are they dating?” and “Isn’t de Armas dating Manuel Anido Cuesta, the stepson of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel?” Well, sources finally revealed the truth, and that on their latest outing, Cruise seemingly brought a telling pal to show what was really going on.
Turns out, during their recent outing at the London Heliport last week, de Armas and Cruise were joined by director Doug Liman. For those wondering, Liman has directed dozens of films, including two films Cruise has starred in: Edge of Tomorrow and American Made.
So, why was Liman there? Sources told People that the three of them, as well as their agents, all dined together in London, “discussing potential collaborations down the line.” And they noted that de Armas and Cruise “appeared to have no romantic connection, just friends.”
It’s unclear which project it’s for, but Linman is directing two pictures: one being an Untitled Tom Cruise/SpaceX Project and Live Die Repeat and Repeat, which Cruise is rumored to be joining.
So, it’s time to expect them to join the screen soon!
These sources may have confirmed not one, but two things fans have been wondering. While de Armas has reportedly been dating Cuesta since Nov 2024, the outings with Cruise made everyone question everything (especially since they were seen out together on Valentine’s Day). However, now that it’s confirmed they’re probably just working together soon, all eyes are back on de Armas and Cuesta.
Cuesta and de Armas first sparked romance rumors back in Nov 2024 after they were spotted kissing in Madrid, and months later, were seen holding hands and packing on the PDA in early 2025.
