Despite Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, allegedly forgoing red-carpet moments for years, they’re back, showing how they don’t care about trolls in 2025. In fact, they made their first red carpet outing together in two years, even throughout the pushback Underwood is still getting for singing at US President Donald Trump’s Inauguration.
In case you missed it, Underwood and Fisher arrived in style at NBC’s Opry 100: A Live Celebration at The Grand Ole Opry House on March 19, 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Underwood wowed in a gold-splattered, sheer black ballgown, and her husband Fisher matched in an all-black suit for the big day. She was there to pay tribute to country superstar and fellow Grand Ole Opry member Randy Travis, and truly, so many fans couldn’t take their eyes off the couple.
However, that may not just be because of their looks, it’s because they’ve rarely been seen out together the past couple of years.
“They used to share more but they’ve have had a lot of trolling so don’t want to put themselves through any unnecessary negativity,” an insider told the Daily Mail earlier this year. “There are a lot of haters out there and both Carrie and Mike like to keep things positive.” But now, it seems like they’re turning a new leaf!

For those who don’t know, Underwood and Fisher were set up in 2008 by a mutual pal, specifically Underwood’s bassist Mark Childers, who was a friend of Fisher. A year later, by Dec 2009 they were engaged. The couple got married on July 10, 2010.
They later welcomed two sons named: Isaiah, born on Feb 2015 and Jacob, born on Jan 2019.
