HAWAIIAN hitman Max Holloway is married to a beautiful professional surfer called Alessa Quizon.

Who is Max Holloway’s wife Alessa Quizon?
Alessa Quizon is a professional surfer from Oahu, Hawaii.
She has been ranked among the top female surfers in the world, but hasn’t been competing so much of late.
In 2019, Alessa told Into The Gloss: “When I was two I was thrown in the water, and I fell in love.
“And then I started surfing at four — my dad taught me.
“Surfing’s been in my family for two or three generations now.
“There’s no other feeling in the world like riding a wave.
She added: “When I was on the world tour — that’s like the elite, best of the best — I was ranked seventeenth in the world.
“The oldest person I was surfing against was maybe 32 at the time, and the youngest was probably 17.”
Alessa reportedly began dating Holloway in February 2020 after breaking off her engagement to pro surfer Caio Ibelli.
As of July 2025, she boasts 745,000 followers on Instagram.
Marriage
The couple tied the knot in Waianae, Honolulu County in Hawaii on April 16, 2022.
Holloway, 33, announced his engagement to the professional surfer with a series of photos posted to Twitter on November 17, 2020.
“She said yes,” he wrote with a heart emoji.
Fans of the UFC fighter, who is also from Hawaii, replied under his post, flooding him and his bride-to-be with congratulatory comments.

Holloway started strong, using his trademark high-volume striking to keep Topuria at a distance, landing the more meaningful strikes in the early rounds.
Topuria responded with heavy leg kicks, mixing in a surprise takedown late in the opening round.
As the fight progressed, Topuria started having more success, finding the target with damaging shots, especially targeting Holloway’s legs and body.
In the third round, Topuria stunned Holloway with a big right hand, following through with a powerful left hook that dropped Holloway.

After the customary ground-and-pound, the ref stopped the fight at 1.34 of round three.
This marked the first knockout loss of UFC legend Holloway’s career, with Topuria retaining his featherweight crown with the emphatic victory.
Who is Holloway fighting next?
Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier vs Max “Blessed” Holloway takes place at UFC 318 on July 19, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The fighters have a storied rivalry in MMA, with this being their third and final fight.
It also marks Poirier’s retirement fight, where he will challenge Holloway for the symbolic “BMF” (Baddest Motherfucker) title.

When the fight was announced, The Diamond said: “I’m going to lay the gloves down in Louisiana, where it all started for me.
“There’s not a better guy I could think to fight in my retirement fight.
“He’s a legend, former champion, current BMF champion, so we’re going to put on another war.”
Their first encounter occurred at UFC 143 on February 4, 2012, where Poirier won via triangle-armbar submission in the first round.
The second fight took place at UFC 236 on April 13, 2019, with Poirier securing a unanimous decision victory, which also ended Holloway’s 13-fight win streak.
This upcoming third bout will be a five-round lightweight contest and is set to headline the event at the Smoothie King Center.
