Where to buy red noses in 2024
Red Nose Day is an annual fundraising event run by charity Comic Relief to help people suffering from discrimination, poverty and violence.
One of the most iconic aspects the big day is the iconic red nose.
Children and adults in the UK have worn the silly noses, which come in a variety of designs, since 1988.
You can buy them from:
- Amazon
- TK Maxx
- Comic Relief online
- In stores like Argos and Sainsbury’s
Each nose costs £2.50, while you can get a collector pack of five noses for £12, or a multipack of 30 noses for £60.
If want to buy more Red Nose Day memorabilia, TK Maxx also sells Red Nose Day T-shirts, which are designed by different celebrities every year.
What are 2025’s red noses made out of?
For 2025, there are six fun red noses to collect, including the 80’s Nose, 90’s Nose, Noughties Nose, 2010’s and Cupcake Nose
There is also a one in 125 chance to get your hands on a limited edition Rare Ruby Red Nose, which is a collector’s item.
The 2025 noses are made from 70% sugarcane (Bagasse in the UK) and 30% wood pulp, which is moulded together with trace amounts of a food-safe colour dye.
The dye also contains no plastics either.
The characters are then printed with a UV printer, so there’s also a trace amount of printer ink on the red nose.
All of the material is plant-based, and therefore fully recyclable.
Each red nose also comes with a QR code which people can scan and receive a joke.
Why do we wear red noses?
People wear red noses to show that they are celebrating Red Nose Day.
It also symbolises that they have donated money to Comic Relief.
