GOGGLEBOX fans have shared their disgust after one of the show’s stars told his mum to “shut the f*** up”.
Viewers were left horrified after ‘posh’ teenager Jake swore at his mother Sally while they watched a wildlife documentary.

The family were watching The Americas when Jake dropped the F-bomb[/caption]
The family, who only joined Gogglebox four months ago, were watching The Americas on the BBC when Jake took offence to a conversation between Sally and his dad Michael.
The Channel 4 show was featuring Blue Footed Boobies, which are birds native to Mexico that have blue feet.
Pigment in the fish they eat turn their webbed feet blue and the birds use them to woo a life partner.
One bird was seen flying away to “go fishing” in a bid to make his feet even bluer so he could attract a female.
Michael said to his wife Sally: “I’d do that for you.”
Sally replied: “Would you? Would get your feet looking more blue?”
He told her: “Yes, if that’s what did it for you, babe.”
Sitting across from his parents, 17-year-old Jake recoiled.
He screwed up his face and said: “Oh, just shut the f*** up.”
Gogglebox fans were so shocked to hear Jake swear at his mum that they took to X, formerly Twitter, in their droves.
Furious, one viewer wrote: “What decent people tell their parents to ‘shut the f*** up’? And what decent parents tolerate it?”
Another added: “I can never imagine saying ‘oh shut the f*** up’ to my parents, even in a jokey way :(“
A third said: “You tell your mum and dad to shut the f*** up? SLAP.”
And a fourth fumed: “Wouldn’t tolerate that from my son and he wouldn’t even try it!!!”
Someone else also posted: “Way to speak to your mother posh boy. If my sons spoke to me like that…( which they wouldn’t ).”
Michael and Sally made their first appearance alongside their twin sons, Jake and Harry, last year.
The family are based in Kent and give their opinions on the week’s television shows from the comfort of their luxury converted barn.
Fans were quick to brand them “posh” within minutes of seeing them on the Channel 4 show.
One complained on social media at the time: “Posh folk aren’t really for #Gogglebox well apart from Gyles and Mary.”
Another questioned: “Why add yet another posh family?”
However, others found themselves warming to them.
“New family from Kent have won me over already,” someone said, “Representation a bonus.”
Prior to their Gogglebox debut, the previous family to join Gogglebox were Teresa and Anita, from Solihull, in March 2024.
