EUROPE is starting to devise a peacekeeping plan to support Ukraine with the UK pledging to have boots on the ground for “as long as it takes”.
France has also announced they are considering “mobilising civilians” to counter a looming Russian threat – as the Kremlin warns any Nato interference would mean war.

Top Vladimir Putin stooge Dmitry Medvedev blasted a potential European peacekeeping force being deployed to Ukraine once a truce deal has been agreed.
Thousands of allied troops are set to be sent to patrol the Ukrainian border and ensure Russia abides to the terms of the ceasefire.
A plan has been in the works for weeks led by Keir Starmer and Emmanuel Macron but Medvedev has now accused the pair of “playing dumb”.
The ex-Russian prime minister said on X: “Macron and Starmer are playing dumb.
“Time and again they are told that peacekeepers must be from non-Nato states.
“No, we will send tens of thousands – just lay it out – you want to give military aid to the neo-Nazis in Kiev.
“That means war with Nato. Consult with Trump, scumbags.”
His World War Three warning comes as military chiefs from around the world are set to hold an “operational planning meeting” in London on Thursday.
The “coalition of the willing” summit, announced by Starmer over the weekend, will be aimed at devising a plan for a post-war Europe to bolster security.
The British prime minister has been vocal in the past few days about his willingness to station thousands of his soldiers in Ukraine.
He says he is prepared to make an open-ended commitment to deploy British troops for “as long as it takes” alongside western allies to keep the peace.
Starmer has been leading European support for Ukraine alongside France‘s Macron in recent weeks.
Loyal Macron has even said he is thinking about mobilising civilians to help defend against Russia.
Speaking to local newspapers over the weekend, Macron said the return of compulsory military service isn’t “a realistic option”.
He said France no longer has the “logistics” for conscription.
But Macron did say: “We are going to look at ways to mobilise civilians.”
About half a dozen other countries including Turkey, Canada and Australia are also discussing their own plans to help.
It is hoped that up to 30,000 troops can be sent to Ukraine from Nato representatives.

Others will also send weapons and logistics, Starmer has said.
Putin’s deranged lackeys have constantly warned of a severe escalation should any foreign troops enter Ukraine armed.
Russian deputy foreign minister Alexander Grushko said unarmed peacekeepers is a non-negotiable when it comes to ceasefire talks.
A deal must “exclude Ukraine’s membership in Nato and the possibility of deploying foreign military contingents on its territory”, he said.
The Kremlin has constantly begged for Ukraine to be excluded from Nato and for Zelensky to never be allowed a membership to the alliance.
The US and Donald Trump have appeared to agree on this point with them believing mad Vlad will only stop if he is given it as a guarantee.
Some Russian mouthpieces have taken their threats against the West a step further in recent days.
Russian state media commentator Vladimir Kornilov said British troops sent to Ukraine will face death as they would be seen “as a legitimate target”.
TV propagandist Vladimir Solovyov echoed these chilling Kremlin beliefs as he raged: “We will kill you all, and we will kill you all.”
He went on to say Russia will happily escalate the brewing war by storming across into Paris “if necessary”.
Solovyov’s foul-mouthed European rant ended with him vowing anyone going up against Russia will be destroyed.
He said: “Macron, Starmer, Merz are fighting for the title of defender of Europe.
“You must realise it will only end with you being destroyed.
“Every time another coalition of those who want to be destroyed plans to teach Russia a lesson, it always ends the same way.”
It comes as Trump and Putin are set to speak tomorrow in a historic phone call.
The Republican believes he has a “very good chance” of finally convincing Putin to accept a US-proposed ceasefire.
The Russian despot has still given no clear indication if he is willing to accept a truce deal and has instead raised “serious questions” over the proposal.
Despite peace talks, fighting on the battlefield continues to ramp up with Russia looking to force Ukraine into submission.
Ukraine has reportedly been forced to withdraw from most of Kursk as Putin’s men continue to push the last of Zelensky’s troops out of the region.
A battleground map revealed by Ukraine’s general staff appears to show they have retreated from Sudzha and the surrounding area in a devastating loss for Ukraine.
Trump’s National Security Advisor Michael Waltz has now warned Ukraine could end up losing territory as part of an agreement to end the war, in exchange for “future security guarantees”.
