PLANS for Donald Trump’s trip to the UK are reportedly being drawn up with the US president set to visit his golf courses “in the coming weeks”.
It is said that Trump is likely to arrive in Scotland at the end of July or the beginning of August, according to Sky News.
Security and policing insiders have said meetings are ongoing this week with the possibility of up to 5,000 officers being required to work 12-hour shifts.
But it is understood a final date is yet to be confirmed due to the president’s fluid diary
