‘Tracker’ Heads to New Orleans for Chilling Mystery With New Guest Star in Season 2, Episode 14

Season 2 of Tracker is continuing to provide viewers with chilling mysteries solved by determined rewardist Colter Shaw.

In the upcoming Sunday, March 23, episode “Exodus,” Colter, played by Justin Hartley, will be joined by guest star Marci House.

“When a teenage musician vanishes in New Orleans, Colter teams up with a local detective (Marci House) and uncovers a chilling mystery involving dark magic,” the official logline of the episode said.

Additionally, photos were released ahead of the episode showing Marci’s character, Detective Veach, joining Colter as they searched for answers at the scene of the crime. One photo showed the duo standing just a few feet away from an outdoor area blocked off by police tape. In another photo, they appeared to be looking at drawings on papers found in what looked to be an abandoned house or barn.

Another picture showed Colter meeting Karl Makinen’s character, Hugo, in a bar. Without giving too much away, it does seem like Colter was successful in finding what he was looking for based on one harrowing photo.

Of course fans still can also look forward to a new episode of Tracker this Sunday titled “Neptune.” Colter is headed to New York City and we have no idea where he will park his iconic silver Airstream.

In the Sunday, March 16, episode, “Colter travels to New York City to find a woman who vanished in the dressing room of an upscale clothing store.”

Executive producer Elwood Reid teased Sunday’s Big Apple-bound episode in a preview.

“Colter is hired by the husband of the missing woman after the police believe she just walked out on him,” he said.

“Colter doesn’t find any signs of foul play, yet the circumstances of this disappearance are bizarre. Colter must figure out how and why this young wife vanished before larger, more sinister forces find him,” he added.

Hitting the big city is certainly a change of pace for Colter, who will “face the challenges of tracking in a major metropolis.”

And of course like all other Tracker episodes before, there’s always the underlying story line about Colter’s father’s death. The murder remains unsolved but it feels like each episode gets closer and closer to uncovering the truth about Ashton Shaw, including his involvement with the government and his extramarital affair.

“This episode is partly inspired by the paranoid thrillers of the 1970s. Colter will be reminded of his own family and the lies that loved ones can tell to protect you from the truth,” Reid said of the NYC episode.

On top of that, fans are also wondering when Bobby will return to the show after being absent for the past few episodes. Randy, Bobby’s cousin, has been filling in for him to assist with all of Colter’s hacking needs in several season 2 episodes. However, it is unclear when exactly Bobby will return. A midseason trailer did show him in his tech studio, so we can likely expect him to be back on the show at some point.
