Emma Kenny, 52, told her followers she had given birth to a daughter named Ella-Grey.
She gushed how the newborn, who was seen wrapped up in a white towel and pink knit hat, was “as wonderful as I’d imagined she’d be.”
Yet amid the joy at the baby girl making her mark in the world, Emma told how her arrival was just weeks after her mum passed away.
Writing alongside a reel that featured a series of snaps of Ella-Grey, including one of her holding the newborn just moments after giving birth, Emma wrote: “Say hi Ella-Grey And then there were six!
“Say hello Ella-Grey! This morning she entered the world with a loud cry.
“The Royal Bolton Hospital have been fantastic and ensured that we have both been looked after brilliantly.”
Opening up on her bittersweet feeling, Emma continued: “I lost my mum suddenly a couple of weeks back, and it’s really strange knowing that neither of my babies will get to know their grandparents…
“They would have loved them as my older boys did before them.”
Emma then went on to gush over her newborn and added: “Ella-Grey has been lying on me all day, she latched on immediately and is as wonderful as I imagined she would be… but like her sister… I am blindsided that she is a girl.
“So, now I have two very big boys of 20 and 22, and two tiny girls aged 1 day and 23 months.”
Emma gave birth to her eldest daughter back in 2023, after keeping her third pregnancy a secret.
At the time, she said she had “waited 10 years” for the joyous occasion.
In the caption at the time, she revealed that her little bundle of joy is named Etta-Blue.
Emma, who is best known for her appearances on This Morning as the ITV1 show’s resident psychologist, also has two sons with her ex-husband – Tyde and Evan.
