It sees ordinary civilians from all walks of life compete in a gruelling trek across a remote location with some of life’s best luxuries to tempt them.

However, doing so sees the £300,000 prize pot decrease and upsets the rest of the tired and starved group while trekking across Langkawi, Malaysia.

The group were tasked with jumping into the sea to swim to the island, but Imani struggled to get off the boat at first, before finally sliding in.

After their first challenge, it didn’t take long before cracks began to show and a huge row erupted.

Imani was left frustrated after a five hour trek and quickly rubbed some people up the wrong way.

They arrived at their basic campsite, with only hard wooden boards to sleep on and bog-standard toilet facilities.

Their first temptation offered four people to sleep in a comfy beds – but it came at a price.

Imani struggled to see eye-to-eye with her co-stars as she told them: “I’m just telling you right now, certain things I will take if I want them.

“I know what I need. It’s about my wellbeing.

“I will do whatever I want to do, of course some people are going to get upset but that’s their issue,” which left the group shocked.

She added: “If it came with food, I’d take it. The bed is nice but I’m not going to take it.”

Nathaniel admitted: “I do have to watch her but the threat has been eliminated.”

Chef Sam then clashed with Imani over the cooking – after she made hard rice and beans.

Later in the evening, Imani was shut down by Sam for “whining”.

Sam said to the group: “There’s got to be a certain time of the day when we all stop whining. My brain can’t take much more today.”

Imani replied: “Don’t tell me to quieten down.”

Sam fired back: “I will when you’re doing my f****** head in,” to which Imani said: “If you don’t like it go and move somewhere else.”

Sam said: “Oh Imani shut up.”

Imani replied: “I will move on when I’m ready to move on.”

Vicki then screamed at her: “We can all shout. You like the sound of your voice a bit too much.”

Despite initially turning down the bed, Imani decided to get her revenge on the group and spent £2,200 of the prize fund for a night of luxury in a clean bed.

This lead to her fellow co-stars hitting out at her for “betraying” them.

She was tempted for a second time when she accepted the swimming pool treat with Tomaz, resulting in the fund being reduced once again.

Channel 4 viewers were convinced Imani may not upping the drama because she’s a show plant.

One wrote: “Imani MUST be a plant. No real person who felt as entitled as her would sign up for this.”

“Nah this Imani has to be a plant,” a second said.

A third commented: “Imani is a plant just there to cause kick offs,” while a fourth added: “Imani is a plant.”

Imani, who is a fashion blogger, admitted before the show that she never likes denying herself a chance at joy and thinks life is all about experiences.
