Teddi Mellencamp got real about wearing a wig amid her cancer diagnosis.
Mellencamp, 43, opened up about rocking her shaved head via Instagram on Thursday, March 13. She posted a side-by-side pic of her brunette buzzcut and her platinum blonde wig — effortlessly slaying in both.
In both looks, Mellencamp donned a full beat, including filled-in eyebrows, nude glossy lips, blushed cheeks and a dewy complexion. Her eye makeup was finished with bronzy eyeshadow blends on her brow bone, black liner in her waterline, and long lashes.
“Some days you feel like a wig, some days you don’t,” Mellencamp, who revealed her melanoma cancer diagnosis in October 2022, captioned the post. “You’re my bestie and we’re going to lunch… am I coming wig or no wig?” Her celebrity friends were quick to compliment the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star in the comments section.

“Gorgeous either way! I don’t know anybody who could look as beautiful as you with a shaved head!” Kyle Richards wrote, as Real Housewives of Orange County star Emily Simpson added, “The face is always serving

In February, Mellencamp shared with fans that she was undergoing surgery after doctors found tumors in her brain. “Doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months,” she wrote via social media.
Ahead of the surgery, she shaved her hair off and told fans that the “remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date.”

Later in February, she updated fans and shared that she got her staples taken out and was “ready” to start radiation.
