“Taylor Swift Clause” in Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ Protective Order: Candace Owens Relentlessly Supports Justin Baldoni

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have filed for a protective order, requesting heightened protections for her family, members of the cast of It Ends With Us, and other witnesses. One of the clauses in the protective order filed by Lively has caught the attention of controversial political commentator Candace Owens. She shared that this particular clause was placed to protect Taylor Swift.

Owens has been extending her support to Justin Baldoni from the beginning. After Baldoni’s $400 million lawsuit, Owens has doubled down on her attacks against Lively and Reynolds and their friends. Interestingly, Owens often dragged Swift into the drama and claimed that she had a larger role to play in this issue.

Blake Lively has sought stronger protections for her and her friends in the legal case against Justin Baldoni. She shared in the order that she and those who have spoken in support of her have received “violent, profane, sexist, and threatening communications” (via Fox News).

The order particularly mentioned that one witness received a written threat which read that the “witness’s family would be sexually assaulted and killed unless the witness agreed to ‘make a statement and give the truth’”. The order claimed that certain discovery in the legal battle would create “defined, specific and serious injury” to the parties and non-parties involved.

Baldoni’s team can file their own version of a protective order until March 11 so that the judge can review it before issuing a final version of it. The legal team for Baldoni also condemned the violent messages against any parties, while adding that they too received similar threats when they were wrongly accused by Lively.

Candace Owens shared an image of the protective order on X and sarcastically commented that “the guilty-as-sin couple is asking a judge to ‘protect’ from the public, some ‘confidential’ documents and names gathered in the discovery process”. She turned the fans’ attention to one particular clause in the protection order.

It mentioned that some Discovery Material should be made confidential to protect the “business, commercial, financial or personal interests” of the producing person. The order further reads that this producing person includes “high-profile individuals to whom a duty of confidentiality is owed”. Owens shared that it was the “Taylor Swift clause” in the order.

In his $400 million lawsuit against Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Baldoni claimed that one of their “mega-celebrity” friends was involved behind the scenes on the film (via Us Weekly). Baldoni detailed the involvement of this A-lister friend in the film. Fans and Owens believe that this mentioned friend could be Taylor Swift.

The Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni drama blew up in epic proportions when The New York Times reported that Lively had filed a complaint against Baldoni and his PR team. The outlet published text messages between Baldoni and his PR team, making damaging claims against the It Ends With Us director.

After Baldoni filed a suit against the NY Times and Lively, Candace Owens shared her theory about how the article got published in the first place. Owens claimed in her YouTube video that Taylor Swift, who was seen hanging around with Lively and Reynolds during this time, may have influenced the news outlet to publish the piece.

Owens further launched personal attacks against Swift, sharing how she wrote a song about “all of her 97 relationships” as if she “has never done anything wrong.” Owens called Swift’s songs “her version of a lawsuit.” She shared that Swift “gets what she wants and people buy her narrative.”

Owens later bashed Ryan Reynolds and Lively for mocking Baldoni with the character Nicepool. Lively used the fictional name Gordon Reynolds, who was earlier credited as Nicepool, in the credits of It Ends With Us. Owens shared that it was Swift’s signature move to call out her ex-boyfriends through the credits in her songs (via YouTube).

Owens claimed that Lively was inspired or even advised to do the same in her movie. Owens went on to explain that Swift was allegedly heavily involved with both Deadpool & Wolverine and It Ends With Us, which makes it possible that the Gordon Reynolds idea came from her.
