Elsewhere on the show, Dean appealed to Carol to help Ger.
Meanwhile, Liam still felt that everything he tried to build in Carrigstown had been destroyed and decided to tell Carol that he is heading to India for a refresh.
However, J.J. arrived while Liam was speaking with Carol, and his confession lead to a huge clash.
Later, Carol told Ger that she would try and help her, but only if she apologised to Liam for souring things between him and Sharon.
But, when Ger staunchly refused to apologize, Carol told her she’s on her own.
And after Dean pleaded with Ger to reconsider Carol’s offer, Liam was stunned when she offered him an apology.
Satisfied with her apology, Carol told Ger she had a plan to nail Aidan O’Rourke.
RTE viewers raced to social media to share their reaction to all of tonight’s drama.
Sinead said: “I’d take a bullet rather than apologise to Liam to be fair.”
Pamela agreed adding: “So would Ger it seems.”
Another fan added: “Carol has more chance of Jack showing up then Ger apologising to Liam.”
Elsewhere on the show, a worried Dolores revealed to Pete, Erica and Doug that the guards wanted to speak to her.
After hearing this Pete insisted she should not reveal what she knew about Wayne to the detective.
However, Erica grew suspicious that Pete and Dolores were hiding something after spotting them together.
SUSPICIONS GROW
Later, Dolores admitted to Pete that she gave the detective the invoices with Wayne’s signature.
To cover for Dolores, Pete told Ray that Wayne was the cause of the trouble, but they haven’t been able to contact him.
After being confronted by Pete, Ray argued that Wayne wouldn’t let his mother take the fall for him, but Pete wasn’t so sure.
Dolores told Erica, Doug and Nora about Wayne, and agreed that left them in the clear and that the detective’s focus was now Wayne.
CHORE SWAP
Elsewhere in Carrigstown, Nikki came up with a chores rota to the dismay of her kids, but Cass insisted he would help out too.
While the kids grew tired of Nikki’s sternness, she and Sean were frustrated to see them leave Cass finish all their chores.
In a hasty reaction, Nikki insisted she wouldn’t ease up on them until they were on the straight and narrow.
Meanwhile, Ruby and Victor brought Babs around on the idea of setting up a market stall.
TIME OUT
However, he was horrified when he received a call to say the stock for the stall won’t make it in time for the market.
Thankfully a quick-thinking Ruby came up with an idea along with the help of Lorcan.
Together, the pair hatched a plan to sell his denim jacket designs at the stall.
And with no other options, Victor begrudgingly accepted their offer.
