One Piece has some complex battles but not in the way a typical Shonen would. The Straw Hats are adept at very different skills and often have to pick and choose their fights rather than going into it thinking they will win, except for the Monster Trio.
To nobody’s surprise, Monkey D. Luffy doesn’t have the best win rate amongst the Straw Hat Pirates. The captain is in the bottom 3 of the list with 30 wins and 18 losses. However, the sheer volume of fights he has taken on is more than the rest of the Straw Hats, including Zoro.

The reason he might not have the highest win rate is his impulsiveness. While Luffy is incredibly strong and has a legendary Devil Fruit, he still goes into every battle without a plan. It’s a sure way to fail, especially when he went against characters like Magellan.
The Straw Hat Pirate with the highest win rate is also the one who most recently joined. Jinbe might be a gentle, wise soul but he’s an absolute beast on the battlefield with his fish-man heritage giving him an advantage.
Jinbe is the only crewmate with a 100% win rate among all the Straw Hats
The helmsman of the Straw Hat Pirates and the former Warlord of the Sea is a formidable person to go against. Even Portgas D. Ace, who can manipulate fire, tied against Jinbe in battle. While we haven’t seen him in action enough, he has won every battle we’ve seen so far.

Aside from his fish-man heritage granting him superior strength, speed, and durability, Jinbe is also a master of Fish-Man Karate. He’s also a great strategist and seasoned pirate, making his experience invaluable during battle.
Tamir’s Verse, the YouTube channel that posted these statistics, fails to remember one crucial fight that almost cost Jinbe’s life. Akainu vs Jinbe did not end well for him, leaving a huge magma chest wound. Thanks to Trafalgar Law, he and the Straw Hat captain lived.
That counts as one loss for Jinbe in the few fights we’ve seen him participate in on screen. His win rate would drop to 80% and make Zoro’s rate the highest at 86%.
Nonetheless, Jinbe is a brave and noble pirate who even stands up to an Emperor. He looked Big Mom in the eye and delivered one of the coldest lines in One Piece’s history.
I’m a man who wants to be part of the future Pirate King’s crew.
I can’t be intimidated by a mere Emperor of the sea!Jinbe to Big Mom, One Piece, Episode 833
So when it comes to loyalty and bravery, win rates don’t matter for the Straw Hats. Maybe Zoro and Sanji would keep tabs on each other but as long as the crew never give up, it doesn’t matter if Jinbe or Zoro are higher.
We need to see more of Jinbe fighting in One Piece
Considering he’s the newest addition to the Straw Hats, it’s natural we haven’t seen him fight a lot. Jinbe was still a relevant character before and has helped Luffy immensely, from giving blood, despite the ban, to helping him snap out of his grief.

Many fans regard him as better than the Monster Trio, especially in terms of defense. Despite being fatally wounded by Akainu, he blocked some of his attacks. With the Final Saga, we’ll surely see this more.
Eiichiro Oda won’t make him as strong as them but Jinbe’s strength lies in his experience as a helmsman. He steers the seas expertly and gets the Straw Hats out of danger. Perhaps we should value this about Jinbe more than his fighting abilities.
