STILL Game legend Jane McCarry has announced a nationwide comedy tour and vowed to share her secrets from two decades of playing telly’s favourite gossip.
The Isa Drennan star, 54, has promised to lift the lid on all the laughter and behind-the-scenes stories from her showbiz career — including her 17-year stint as the iconic Craiglang blabbermouth.

Her 25-date one-woman show kicks off next week with stops in every part of the country.
And fans will have the chance to find out what they really want to know about her life and time on the smash BBC sitcom at a special Q&A.
A tour spokesman said: “Jane’s brand new tour promises to have you laughing like never before, and will offer an exclusive opportunity to explore in-depth the life of Isa Drennan.
“Having charmed audiences for over 20 years, Jane McCarry will amuse fans with fascinating jokes and stories from her time on the telly.
“Jane’s solo show guarantees an unforgettable evening as she will reveal some of the behind-the-scenes insights that made her one of Scotland’s most loved TV personalities.
“Still Game fans will also have the chance to ask Jane anything about her life as a television star, which will offer a unique interactive part to her performance that will make it a truly incredible night to remember.”
Jane, from King’s Park, Glasgow, trained as an actress at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh before landing the part of Still Game’s motormouth OAP.
Her tour begins next Friday at Ashdale Hall in Westhill, Aberdeenshire, and includes stops in Airdrie, Dunfermline, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Kilmarnock and Motherwell.
Jane appeared in the first episode of the programme written by pals Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill, which was originally a spin-off from their successful sketch show Chewin’ The Fat.
Jane — who taught drama at Shawlands Academy in Glasgow’s southside before hitting the big time — has also appeared in classic Scottish comedy Rab C. Nesbitt and streaming giant Amazon Prime Video’s 2022 six-part crime thriller The Devil’s Hour alongside ex-Dr Who star Peter Capaldi and Call The Midwife’s Jessica Raine.
Tour promoter Naz Hussain said: “Audiences can expect a lot of laughs as Jane shares stories from a TV, radio, and stage career that spans over twenty years.”
Tickets start at £25 and are available from breakneckcomedy.co.uk.
