Media personality Minnie Dlamini comforted Rachel Kolisi, who became emotional in a TikTok video about co-parenting after divorce.

Rachel announced her separation from Siya Kolisi last October and has since been adjusting to life as a single mother.

RACHEL KOLISI OPENS UP ABOUT CO-PARENTING WITH SIYA KOLISI

In an unfiltered video, Rachel shared raw clips capturing her co-parenting journey’s emotional highs and lows post-divorce. The video shows Rachel taking her two children, including Siya’s sister Liphelo, to the airport to reunite with Siya.

“In the process of getting a divorce. And today was the first time my kids flew to see their dad without me. It was hard”, she wrote.

They later joined Siya in Gqeberha, where the Springboks are scheduled to play during the upcoming weekend. Throughout the day, Rachel became overwhelmed with emotion, shedding tears and even experiencing what she described as an “anxiety attack.”

To recharge, Rachel later booked a short getaway with her grandmother in hopes of lifting her mood and mental state. Offering support, Minnie Dlamini left a heartfelt message in the comments, simply saying, “Sorry mama,” to comfort her publicly.

THE END OF AN ERA FOR RACHEL AND SIYA

In October 2024, Siya and Rachel announced their separation via a joint statement on Instagram, emphasising that their decision to separate was mutual and amicable.

Together, Siya and Rachel have two children—Nicholas, who is 10, and Keziah, who is 7. They also adopted Siya’s two younger siblings, Liyema and Liphelo, when they were children.

On Valentine’s Day, Rachel opened up about how she felt. The mother of four poured her heart out about parenting amid her divorce.

“This Valentine’s Day, I made a brave decision, and it broke my heart all over again. Parenting when the world feels like it’s crumbling around you is a different kind of challenge. And one I hope I’ll never have to experience at this level again,” she wrote.

“Never been more grateful for the very few who showed up to support and lean in this week, especially.
One day at a time felt too big this week, so I just did one hour at a time, and it kinda helped – I made it to Saturday! 😅❤️,” she said.
