When is Black Friday 2025?
If you’re wondering when Black Friday takes place, it’s the day after Thanksgiving in the USA – making it November 28 this year.
Although it started as a US event, Black Friday has become a global shopping phenomenon and generally offers the biggest discounts of any sale during the year.
Thousands of retailers take part with prices cut on all kinds of products – perfect whether you’re shopping fashion and beauty, kitchen appliances and lifestyle, or electronics and tech.
Originally the sale started on Black Friday and ran until the close of Cyber Monday, but in the last few years, we’ve seen price cuts from the start of the month running through until December.

Is Skims taking part in Black Friday this year?
Each year, Skims launches what it calls its ‘bi-annual sale’.
It’s essentially the brand’s Black Friday sale, and it’s packed with thousands of discounts on stunning shapewear, comfy clothing, swimwear, and more.
The event takes place twice throughout the year – once in the summer and again during Black Friday, so there’s more than one opportunity to save on popular Skims styles.
What to expect from Skims’ Black Friday sale 2025
During the brand’s bi-annual sale, shoppers can expect to score discounts on loungewear, shapewear, intimates, menswear, swimwear, accessories and more.
The sale is through the Skims website directly, but it’s worth bearing in mind that other Skims stockists are likely to offer Black Friday deals, too.
The likes of Net-A-Porter and Selfridges may offer price matches or discounts, so it’s worth keeping an eye on their websites for any items you’re after.

When is Cyber Monday 2025 and is Skims taking part?
Cyber Monday falls on December 1, 2025.
It’s traditionally marked the final day of the mega sale and focused exclusively on products from online retailers.
Now though, it’s merged into the Black Friday event – and while it still officially signals the end of the sale for another year, all types of retailers take part.
Offers that start on Black Friday tend to continue throughout Cyber Monday and this is likely to be the case with Skims.
It’s worth bearing in mind though that because the brand is so popular, the best sale items are likely to sell out fast – a great reason not to wait until Cyber Monday to shop the Skims offers.
In previous years, stockists such as Selfridges have been known to extend sales beyond the Cyber Weekend.
We’ve also seen some sale lines continue well into December.
How much does Skims’ shipping cost?
Spend over £50, which is very easy to do, and you get free standard shipping (as if we needed any more encouragement to keep shopping).
For orders under £50, standard shipping is priced at £10 and takes between five to 10 days to arrive.
If you opt for express delivery, which is free on orders over £120, shipping time takes between three to six days.
For orders under £120, express delivery costs £15.
