This is an entry-level, permanent position ideal for candidates with a National Higher Certificate in Business Management or Office Administration and 1–2 years of coordination experience.
This role offers a competitive salary between R257,888 – R386,832 per annum and the opportunity to grow within one of South Africa’s leading ICT government agencies.
Job Purpose
To provide administrative support by efficiently logging, tracking, and coordinating infrastructure service requests, ensuring high levels of stakeholder satisfaction and timely delivery in alignment with service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Logging and validating service requests
- Accurate documentation of request details
- Tracking and coordinating request status
- Adhering to service level targets and schedules
- Post-implementation follow-ups and reporting
- Supporting effective planning and scheduling
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Education:
- 1–2 year National Higher Certificate in Business Management or Office Administration (NQF level 5)
- Plus accredited specialised training courses
- Experience:
- 1–2 years’ experience in request coordination or administrative support
Required Technical Knowledge
- Basic WAN and LAN knowledge
- Computer literacy and ERP systems
- Understanding of PFMA and financial systems
- Familiarity with SITA business processes and SLA management
- Knowledge of telecommunications hardware and carrier technologies
