Cena, 47, betrayed Cody Rhodes after The Rock asked Rhodes to “sell his soul” and become his corporate champion.
Rhodes replied: “Go f*** yourself,” much to the delight of fans.
He was cheered by fans before embracing Cena in a hug.
But Cena’s face dramatically changed when The Rock made a cut-throat gesture and prompting him to attack Rhodes and form an alliance with The Final Boss.
Following the first heel turn of his career, winning the Chamber match booked Cena a shot at winning a 17th world title against Rhodes at WrestleMania in April.
Cena had not been seen on TV since the match, but he was seen sporting a new look as he lost the signature bald spot on his head.
The Suicide Squad actor was seen wearing a leather jacket as he attended an event ahead of Wrestlemania.
However, the viral video stunned fans when it showed he no longer had his iconic bald spot.
Reacting on social media, fans said: “JOHN CENA NO LONGER HAS HIS BALD SPOT CODY RHODES IS SO DONE FOR.”
A second said: “Selling your soul has its perks.”
A third added: “Quick trip to Turkey?”
Another said: “The final boss hooked him up.”
Cena had previously said he did not care about the bald spot because he isn’t perfect, but now has seemingly performed a second heel turn in the space of a two weeks.
The star, who turns 48 in April announced this would be his final year of wrestling before retirement.
