RTE Fair City viewers all said the same thing tonight as Doug made a confession to Pete and Paul tried to get one up on the pair.
On tonight’s episode, Carol was stunned by a visitor at McCoy’s and Aidan located Ger.
Paul tried to throw Doug under the bus[/caption]
Ger was shocked to see Aidan at her door[/caption]
When Doug was brought in for questioning over his business relationship with Paul, Pete assured Erica that there was nothing for them to worry about.
After being questioned, Paul urged Doug not to tell anyone what he was asked by the detective.
But, as the pressure mounted Doug caved and revealed to Pete that he was being questioned over nixers he did with stolen cars.
Pete was shocked, and soon enraged when Doug told him that Paul brought them in.
An enraged Pete confronted Paul for bringing in the stolen cars, but a quick thinking Paul threw Doug under the bus and falsely claimed that it was his idea.
RTE viewers raced to social media to share their reactions to Paul’s scheming.
Sylvia wrote: “Doug next for Mountjoy.”
Michael said: “Doug the mastermind of crime.”
Another fan added: “Doug will end up in a cell with Tyler.”
Elsewhere on the show, Babs and Victor proposed a competition between themselves to see who could get more tips on their taxi fares.
The two got straight to work schmoozing potential clients and Babs asked Lorcan to help her win extra work, to beat Victor.
While using his help as leverage, Lorcan got Babs to invite him over for a movie night so he could spend more time with Ruby.
After multiple quiet shifts, Victor realised Babs was up to something while he struggled and she began to rake in tips.
Elsewhere in Carrigstown, Aidan was still prodding for Ger’s whereabouts and overheard Dean reveal that she was staying with Sharon.
STUNNED GREETING
Wasting no time, Aidan raced to the house, where a stunned Ger greeted him at the door.
Aidan told her he has been tasked to find the rat, but she distracted him with false information on the man in the locket photo.
And Carol grew suspicious when she saw Liam and Aidan chatting, but didn’t have long to ponder it’s meaning when Bo Yorke, the man who kidnapped her, arrived at McCoy’s.
And finally, despite Cass getting the jitters before his speech to the historical society, his speech was a hit.
Darren stole one of the historical society’s artefacts – a small toy soldier, in the aftermath of the talk.
And Sean told Cass about the missing soldier, explaining that the society was upset and that they needed to find it.
