RTE DWTS’ Jack Wooley left in tears after ‘best ever’ performance as judges cry final dance ‘will go down in history’

RTE Dancing With The Stars viewers have been left in tears after Jack Wooley’s “iconic” final performance.

The popular RTE show returned tonight for the highly-anticipated finale, which four contestants battle it out for a chance to lift the coveted Glitterball trophy.

One DWTS judge said the routine will ‘go down in history’

The remaining celebrity finalists hit the dance floor with hopes they would impress both judges and viewers one last time.

Professional judges, Brian Redmond, Arthur GourounlianLoraine Barry and Karen Byrne were back to give their tough-talking reviews and scores tonight.

Olympian Jack Woolley and his pro partner Alex Vladimirov were the second couple to perform in tonight’s show.

The pair danced an incredible American Smooth to Grace by The Wolf Tones for their Judges Choice routine.

As the pair finished, Jack and Alex burst into floods of tears, along with the rest of the studio audience.

The judges were absolutely blown away by their performance with Arthur, Loraine and Karen all on their feet to applause at the end.

Arthur gushed: “This wasn’t just a great dance, this will go down in Dancing With The Stars history as the best ever!”

Brian said: Brian said: “We’ve been talking about legs for weeks and how well did you get on? Sure look at the smiley face on me.”

Karen added: “You really moved people, Jack. I wasn’t better for it the first time and I should have brought my tissues this time. This sums up your journey.”

And Loraine swooned: “You have touched the hearts of everyone watching. It was gentle, pure and heartwarming.


“This dance will always be an iconic performance here on Dancing With The Stars.”

And the couple were left ecstatic after they received a total round score of 40 with 10s across the board from the judges.

Of course, RTE viewers all flocked to social media to praise the stars for their outstanding finale performance.

‘BAWLING’

Elaine wrote: “Not a dry eye in the house again I’d say! That was stunning from Jack and Alex.”

Anthony said: “Jack Woolley has some truly incredible moves. Absolute magic on the dance floor.”

Brittany added: “By far the best dance of the season, maybe the whole series.”

And Annie remarked: “Bawling at that. Jack to win!”
