Actress and television personality Denise Richards, despite being criticized for her performance as Christmas Jones in the James Bond movie The World Is Not Enough, gained mainstream popularity. TV personality-actress-model Denise Richards appeared on Bethenny Frankel’s Just B podcast in 2023, where she opened up about how The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ruptured her friendship with Lisa Rinna. Richards and Rinna had been friends for over 20 years, but in season 10 of the reality show, the audience saw the two friends walk away.
The actress shared at the time (via People),
My experience with Lisa Rinna was so bad that I thought, ‘Ok, what would happen next season? I did have a shi**y experience. It wasn’t good with Lisa Rinna, and it was sad for me.
The actress-model recalled that it was saddening for her to see Rinna sacrifice their 20-year-old friendship for a show that wasn’t going to last forever. The feud between the two started when Denise Richards shared that the group was talking about threesomes during a party at her home, making her daughter Lola uncomfortable. But it was later seen that they were pretty much unfazed about the conversation.
The other explosive thing that went on to fracture the friendship between Richards and Rinna is Brandi Glanville’s claims that she and Denise Richards slept together. Richards has, however, denied the claims, but after looking at the texts shown by Glanville, Lisa Rinna called Richards out at the season 10 reunion. Rinna noted that Richards had been lying about her daughter being bothered by the threesome talks and her friendship with Glanville.
Lisa believed that the Bond actress had been gaslighting everyone and saying that she regretted asking the actress to join the show. In speaking to Frankel, Richards shared that when asked if there is a way the two can be friends again;
I think that you learn a lot about people when you live with them, travel, or work with them. I had never worked with Rinna before.
It seems like there is no way the two friends would like to speak to one another and have since moved on in their respective lives.

In an exclusive season premiere of Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, Denise Richards shared that it’s a crazy chapter of her life, adding that she swears it’s never calm. She shared with People magazine her real thoughts about her joining OnlyFans, adding;
I don’t know what more I could do. In my career, I’ve done so many different things. I really did it because I didn’t understand what OnlyFans was. I was so uneducated about it. I had heard of it, but I didn’t know what it was.
Denise Richards continued that she was really upset when she saw her daughter Sami getting backlash for starting her OnlyFans. Richards added that she was upset as a mom and also as a woman in the entertainment industry, as she has done some roles where at one point she has done a conservative role and then appeared on Wild Things.
The actress recalled that she had been regarded as a s*x symbol and people had opinions about it. She added that she was upset with the fact that her daughter was getting backlash for owning her sexuality and being a woman. Denise Richards, who is protective of her daughters, expressed her concerns about her daughter getting backlash over her OnlyFans account at the age of 18 and noted that it bothered her.
Sami, on the other hand, added that it doesn’t bother her that her mother is also on OnlyFans. Denise Richards also shared that Charlie Sheen and she are in a good place and he has always been supportive of her. Richards noted that when Sheen saw the trailer for Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, he texted her, and it meant a lot to her.
