RANGERS ultras took aim at ‘Woke Foreign Ideologies’ as they unfurled a banner during last night’s Europa League last 16 clash against Fenerbahce.
The message was unfurled above the Union Bears section during the clash which saw them progress to the last eight of the competition on penalties.

The banner read in full: “Keep woke foreign ideologies out. Defend Europe.”
UEFA generally take a dim view of political messages at games in their club competitions although it’s unclear if any action will follow on a banner where the messaging is so vague.
Another larger tifo which greeted the players as they came out before kick off stuck to the football, saying simply: “In the eye of a Rangers storm”.
It featured badges of clubs Rangers have overcome in the Europa League to date with Malmo, FCSB, Nice and Union Saint Gilloise crests all visible.
A message from the Union Bears on social media also asked for patience from supporters in the Copland Stand while the tifo was presented ahead of kick-off.
It read: “The Union Bears have prepared a tifo for tonight’s match.
“A lot of detail is included and we ask supporters in the Copland Stand for their patience whilst this is presented.
“Thank you for your continued support.”
There was also a large banner marking the death of Gers fan Christopher Potter prior to the first leg in Istanbul, with travelling Fenerbahce fans also joining the moment.
The Light Blues supporter, 40, passed away in Istanbul last week after being struck by two vehicles while over in Turkey supporting his team.
