A MAJOR supermarket has issued an urgent recall for seafood sticks with customers warned they are “unsafe to eat”.
Waitrose has recalled its Essential Waitrose Seafood Sticks 250g due to a date code error.

Customers are being warned by the Food Standards Agency not to consume these seafood sticks as a precaution.
The affected products have a Best Before Date of October 5, 2024.
The supermarket is asking shoppers to package up the seafood sticks and return them to their local Waitrose & Partners branch.
