PGA Tour star Jordan Spieth has confirmed he’s fully fit again after a neck injury.
The news comes with the season’s final major that’s just over one week away at The Open Championship in County Antrim at Royal Portrush.

Spieth was forced to withdraw from the Travelers Championship last month after appearing to be in serious pain on the course.
The American dropped to his knees and let out a loud groan after a poor drive on the 13th hole, prompting concern.
With TPC River Highlands being a no-cut Signature Event, his mid-round exit raised alarm bells about the extent of the issue.
It marked the first time in 297 career PGA Tour starts that the three-time major winner, now 31, had to withdraw from an event.
The three-time major winner clarified the extent of the injury on a recent interview as “just a weird neck spasm thing.”
Speaking to Kay Adams on the Up and Adams Show on Monday, the Texan native insited he’s back to full fitness for the final men’s major of the year at Royal Portrush.
Spieth will not be in action at this week’s co-sanctioned Genesis Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club.
But he assured fans that he’ll be in action in County Antrim, Spieth also had surgery on a long-standing wrist issue last year.
The player’s wife is also expecting their third child, so it’s all go for the hugely popular PGA Tour star.
He said: “I knew it was going to be short-lived. I’ve been back to full strength getting ready for The Open.
“Then we have our playoffs after that, so a lot of big events left. I have no restrictions.”
He was referring to the upcoming FedEx Cup Playoffs, which begin in August at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush will be Spieth’s 12th straight appearance in golf’s oldest major.
He has never missed a cut at The Open, and tied for 20th the last time it was played at Portrush in 2019.
The American has been a huge supporter of Irish golf, last year he called for an Open in Dublin after playing a number of links golf courses around leinster, including Portmarnock – which is rumoured to be hosting the 2032 edition.
Spieth lifted the Claret Jug at Royal Birkdale in 2017 but hasn’t added to his tally of three majors since.
His most recent PGA Tour win came at the 2022 RBC Heritage at Harbour Town.
Spieth still needs a PGA Championship victory to complete the career grand slam.
