TWO pensioners have been left devastated after they were conned out of hundreds of pounds in a fake ticket scam.
Pat and Trisha McGrillen, both 65, were excited to see American star Teddy Swims at the OVO Hydro on March 9.

Their family bought £222 tickets from resale site Viagogo so the Renfrewshire pair could enjoy their first ever gig.
But their night out turned into a disaster when they showed up to the arena and were told their tickets were fakes, reports the Daily Record.
They arrived at the venue and the tickets failed to scan.
And the scam has put them off attending any concerts in the future.
Trisha slammed the ticket resale site, saying: “Viagogo are disgusting. We are in a cost of living crisis and people are struggling enough without being ripped off for everything they have.
“I wouldn’t advise anyone to use Viagogo now.”
Jen McEwen, 39, bought the tickets so her daughter Casey, 22, could give them to her grandparents.
They offered to buy tickets to the US rapper‘s shows elsewhere in the UK but Pat and Trisha didn;t want to after the experience.
She said: “They were devastated and so disappointed so it’s put them off going to concerts.
“I am furious and nothing can make up for what they lost out on.”
It comes as dozens of heartbroken fans had their Viagogo tickets for Sabrina Carpenter’s Glasgow show knocked back on Tuesday night.
An SEC spokesperson told the Record they are currently investigating the issue.
“Unfortunately the tickets which Trisha and Pat purchased were invalid. Our venue is a member of STAR (Secure Tickets from Authorised Retailers) and we only recommend that fans buy from an official STAR member.
“We’re sorry to hear about their experience and we’re grateful for this being brought to our attention.
“The safety and comfort of our customers is extremely important to us and we’ll be investigating this as a priority.”
Ticketing giants clash over Sabrina Carpenter chaos

VIAGOGO clashed with Ticketmaster in the aftermath of “fake ticket” chaos at Sabrina Carpenter’s Glasgow show.
Dozens of fans were left absolutely devastated on Tuesday night when they showed up to the Hydro only to find out their Viagogo tickets weren’t valid.
Heartbroken children were left in tears outside the venue as they were refused entry after excitedly waiting to see the artist for over a year after furious parents forked out hundreds of pounds.
Viagogo blamed a last minute reissuing of tickets by Ticketmaster for the issue.
But when asked by The Scottish Sun about the claims, Ticketmaster said Viagogo’s statement was “completely inaccurate.”
A Viagogo spokesperson said: “Viagogo is a safe, secure, and regulated marketplace.
“We are aware that some fans had issues accessing the Teddy Swims concert at OVO Hydro.
“To confirm, tickets purchased through Viagogo by fans were not fraudulent.
“There is no incentive for anyone to sell a fraudulent ticket on our platform as sellers do not get paid unless the seller successfully enters the event.
“We are working with sellers to ensure this does not happen again. We sincerely apologise to any fans impacted who will be receiving full refunds.”
