One Piece: I’ll Be Mad If Usopp Doesn’t Gets His Due in Elbaph but 3 More Straw Hats Desperately Need a Power Up

Since the time skip in One Piece, I’ve been waiting for a few Straw Hat Pirates to get a power-up. Among those members, the one who needs an upgrade the most is definitely Usopp, the sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates. He has been portraying the role of a coward for a long time, and Elbaph holds a special place in his heart, which makes this the perfect arc for him to get redemption.

However, aside from Usopp, there are three more crew members who I believe need to power up for the upcoming battles as they are the primary defense of the entire Straw Hat crew in One Piece. These three characters will have a lot on their plate in the future, and thus, they need to be ready for it by awakening their complete potential within the story.

And considering the fact that Elbaph is the second phase in the final saga, it seems to be the perfect place for these characters to upgrade their arsenal and learn a few new moves that could be powerful enough against opponents like the Blackbeard Pirates and the World Government in One Piece.

1. Vinsmoke Sanji

The cook of the Straw Hat Pirates, Sanji, recently got a power-up in the Wano arc, where he awakened his Germa mutations and thus managed to take down Queen, one of the strongest members of the Beast Pirates in One Piece.

However, it is still not enough as the opponents he is going to face are going to be even more powerful than Queen. There have been speculations that Sanji will be battling one of the members of the God’s Knights who has recently entered Elbaph, and it certainly won’t be an easy fight.

Thus, I am convinced that Sanji needs to awaken some kind of power, probably his Conqueror’s Haki, as it is his only option left against the batch of villains the Straw Hat Pirates will take on in the upcoming phases of the One Piece storyline.

2. Nico Robin

The archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates in One Piece, Nico Robin, also had a special connection with Elbaph, just like Usopp. She was finally able to meet her long-lost friend Saul in Elbaph, one of the most respected characters among the giants. Plus, she also has a threat looming over her head as almost the entire World Government is trying to capture her.

Thus, Nico Robin also needs to power up and learn some kind of Haki technique, as she already has awakened her Devil Fruit powers during the Wano arc. She is one of the few fighters within the crew who cannot use any kind of Haki at all.

If she learns the basic form of Armament Haki and combines it with her Devil Fruit powers, she will undoubtedly become unstoppable. I am hoping that Saul might teach her how to use Haki and then help him save Elbaph in One Piece.

3. Roronoa Zoro

Zoro is also one of the Straw Hat crew members who recently got a powerful upgrade, but it is still not enough, considering his significance as the swordsman of the crew in One Piece. He will be fighting some of the strongest villains in the series and thus needs to be ready for it.

As of now, there is not much space for Zoro to power up, as he unlocked his Conqueror’s Haki and even used the advanced version of it. The only potential power-up he can possibly have is learning to control Enma completely, the sword he gained in Wano.

If he manages to do so, he will take another step towards his goal of becoming the strongest swordsman in the One Piece world. Not only that, but his power-up would help the Straw Hat Pirates live up to the title of Emperor, which they gained after the Wano arc.
