Olivia let the news slip while responding to a fan on Instagram who asked if applications were still open for the second series.
She excitedly replied: “Yes!!!!! And we are casting ALL couples not just straight ones.”
Bad Boyfriends became an instant hit for ITV when it came out in 2024, racking up over 11 million streams on ITVX.
The show follows unsuspecting men who think they are jetting off to Greece for a lads’ holiday reality series, only to be blindsided by their frustrated partners.
Under Olivia’s watchful eye, the men are put through a series of challenges designed to test their commitment and improve their relationships.
The first series saw a mix of heartbreak and love stories rekindled, featuring contestants like Love Island alum Bayley and his girlfriend Anya, who previously appeared on Ex on the Beach.
Now the surprise element is no longer a secret, producers decided to shake things up for the upcoming season.
A source previously teased: “Viewers can expect new and outrageous twists and turns as television presenter and podcaster Olivia sets out to transform another batch of wayward boys in an explosive second series.”
Speaking about the success of the show, Olivia shared: “I feel so excited to continue working with ITV and am overwhelmed by the incredible responses to our shows.
“Becoming the host of my own show Bad Boyfriends this year was a dream project to work on, and I am so grateful to be able to do it all again for Season 2.”
