Get ready for some classic Grace Warrior cuteness overload! Robert Irwin just shared an adorable photo of his niece Grace Irwin — who his sister Bindi Irwin shares with husband Chandler Powell — and it’s the serotonin boost we needed.
In the priceless candid, Robert is kneeling down with Stella the family pug in his arms. Grace — who looks too cute in her floral dress that has ducks around the tulle bottom and pink Crocs — leans in and rubs Stella’s nose with hers. From the adoration in Stella’s eyes and the happy crinkles around Grace’s, we’d bet Stella just gave the 4-year-old a slobbery kiss.
“Stella and Grace… best buds ☺️,” Robert captioned his post.
Followers were in love with the “sweet image” and the “best uncle,” and so many fans found themselves doing double takes. If you’re a longtime follower of the Irwin family, you can see how Robert and Grace have an uncanny resemblance to the late Steve Irwin and Bindi Irwin when she was around the same age.
“I did a double take! Looks like his Dad! Such a precious picture,” one follower said. Another added, “Huh for a split second I swear, it was Steve and bindi😢”
Last week, Grace and her Uncle Robert made headlines when they debuted their original “spooky” dance. Yes, in March. Because as far as toddlers are concerned, time is just a construct and spooky season is a feeling — not a set date.
“Grace and I came up with a spooky Halloween dance,” the TV personality captioned a video on Instagram. “We are both aware that Halloween isn’t for another 7 months but Grace is in her Halloween era, and I’m here for it 😎”
In the hilarious video, Robert narrated their scary dance moves that were inspired by pumpkins, spinach, ghosts, witches, and cats while Grace enthusiastically followed along. ” … Why is spinach featured in this dance I hear you ask?? Let’s be honest… What’s scarier than spinach? 😂”
It all makes us wonder, is Stella really Grace’s “best bud?” Or is it actually silly (and spooky!) Uncle Robert?
