The Sun can exclusively reveal that the new series – set to air next year – will star the fabulous Cherish Finden as a judge.
Viewers will recognise Cherish as the multi-award winning Executive Pastry Chef from Singapore who joined Bake Off: The Professionals in 2016.
The 2000 Culinary Olympics champion has enjoyed an incredible career and is also the judge for Best Afternoon Tea UK.
The 57-year-old professional works for one of London’s top hotels – The Langham – as their Executive Pastry Chef.
She started her first job aged 14 and soon asked if she could work in the kitchen, before she began attending cookery school at the age of 16.
Cherish soon honed her skills in the best hotels in Singapore, including the famous six star Raffles Hotel and The Sheraton.
The International Pastry Consultant is no stranger to being in the spotlight and has been on a number of TV shows during her career.
These include Heston’s Great British Food on Channel 4, BBC’s MasterChef, Australian MasterChef, BBC2’s An Extra Slice and Junior Bake Off.
She was asked to design a cake for the Queen’s 90th birthday and she ended up creating Windsor Castle in cake form for the occasion.
The new role comes after Channel 4 star Prue Leith stepped back from all GBBO specials.
Cooking expert and friend Caroline Waldegrave filled in her shoes during the most recent series.
In 2024, The Great British Bake Off judge confirmed in an interview with This Morning that she would no longer be taking part in the specials of the show.
However, she will still star alongside Paul for the main series.
Excitement is already rising as a Hollywood star is due to take part in the next series.
The next Stand Up To Cancer special is shaping up to be a cracker with some big names taking part.
Hollywood star Ambika Mod, who rose to prominence in This Is Going To Hurt, and shot to stardom in One Day, is the most recently announced star.
Former Geordie Shore Vicky Pattison star has signed up to be judged by Cherish and Paul Hollywood.
We previously revealed that Babatunde Aleshe has also signed up for the special.
He will be joining the likes of Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague and former Celebrity Big Brother star JoJo Siwa.
