MUNSTER RUGBY are set for big boost in the coming weeks as one of their key players is set to return from injury earlier than expected.
Scrum-half Craig Casey underwent surgery on a knee injury in December, and was expected to be ruled out for a minimum of four months.

The Limerick native sat out all of Ireland’s Six Nations campaign but is seemingly near to a return for his province as he took part in training on Wednesday afternoon.
The 25-year-old, who has earned 18-caps for Ireland, was heavily involved in training today, according to Munster interim coach Ian Costello.
Costello told RTÉ Sport ahead of Friday’s trip to face Glasgow: “Craig Casey and Jean Kleyn trained pretty much fully today,”
“They trained as Glasgow as opposition, so we got a good test today, especially Craig.”
He added, “Craig is bouncing around the place, doing incredible rehab, and that extra energy and vibe on the pitch was really noticeable.”
Costello admitted that Jean Klein [who hasn’t played since the end of October due to a thigh injury] and Casey won’t play this weekend in the Scotland.
But he did reveal they should be available for selection in time for the clash against interpro rivals Connacht.
He hailed Casey’s contribution to the squad before adding that they need him back on the pitch.
He added: “I think with a bit of luck they could have some part to play in the game next week. They definitely won’t this week.
“He’s so important to the group. He’s the one who constantly brings energy – is very prominent in meetings – and never waned in terms of contributions.
“If anything, he’s stepped it up over the last week or 10 days.
“He’s a massive addition on the pitch as well.”
Munster travel to Glasgow on Friday in the Round 13 of the URC (7.35pm kick-off).
