B&M‘s website confirms the offer, but also mentions stock may vary by store – so it’s worth checking your local branch.
It seems B&M has beaten the price of supermarket giants like Tesco who is selling the 300g bags for £4, and Asda who has dropped the price slightly to £3.50.
Elsewhere, Poundland is also selling the 300g treat bag for full price at £4, while Amazon has priced their bags at a whopping £7.99 – making B&M’s over 50% off.
Perfect for Easter, the large bag features a variety Quality Street chocolates and toffees – ideal for sharing, or keeping all to yourself.
Quality Street is sold all year but is also a beloved festive treat –meaning stores are likely clearing their Christmas stocks to make room for Easter eggs.
If Quality Street isn’t your sweet treat of choice, fear not as plenty of supermarkets and retailers are slashing prices of chocolate ahead of Easter.
One supermarket treating its sweet-toothed shoppers is Morrisons after slashing the price of a number of its big packs of Cadbury chocolates to just 87p.
A savvy shopper took to a Facebook group to share the news, posting: “Morrisons 87p all different ones not just one.”
The chocolates include Bitsa Wispa, Crunchie Rocks, Oreo Bites, and Cadbury Animals, all going for a fraction of their usual price.
The 110g bags of sweet treats usually range anywhere between £1.75 to £2 at the major supermarkets.
Tesco is also following suit by discounting many of its chocolate boxes and gift sets for Clubcard members, including favourites like Lindt, Maltesers Truffles, and Quality Street.
Chocolate lovers can pick up a 200g bag of Lindt Lindor Chocolate Truffles in a variety of flavours for £4.75 down from £7.50 with a Clubcard.
While there is a deal on the Quality Street Assorted Chocolate Box, it’s smaller than B&M’s offering as it’s only 220g compared to 300g, and still priced at £3 for Clubcard member.
Remember it is always good to shop around to make sure you’re getting the cheapest deal.
With Easter around the corner, it’s likely retailers will begin ramping up their offerings in a bid to get your cash.
To compare the cost of items across different retailers, you can use shopping comparison tools such as Google Shopping and Trolley.co.uk.
On the topic of Easter, if you’re a big Creme Egg fan, we’ve spotted a great deal that gets you a pack of three for just £1.
The deal was spotted at Farmfoods in Wigan, but it’s worth checking your local branch to see if the deal’s running nationwide.
A bargain hunter took to deal-sharing site HotUKDeals to rave about the discount, posting: “Rarely see these sub 50p each so this is a good deal IMO.”
Cadbury Creme Eggs typically cost around 75p, but with this discount you’ll be nabbing the eggs for 33p each – now that’s a cracking deal.
How to save money on chocolate

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…
Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.
Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
