The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Monday it was monitoring a low pressure area (LPA) inside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) with a “medium chance” of developing into a storm after a day or two. The LPA was located 920 kilometers east of Central Luzon as of Monday afternoon.
