About the Internship
Lesedi’s Information Systems Intern position is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates in Information Systems to gain hands-on experience in IT operations, ERP systems, SharePoint administration, user support, and process improvement.
As part of the ICT Department, the successful candidate will support digital transformation efforts, maintain system performance, and assist in user training and documentation.
Key Performance Areas
System Administration & Maintenance
- Perform routine system checks
- Manage IFS license allocation
- Update SharePoint sites
- Handle ERP user profile management
User Support & Training
- Provide help-desk support
- Manage ticketing and resolve IFS-related issues
- Deliver training on modules like PR creation and time registration
- Develop training manuals
Process Management
- Process ERP purchase requisitions
- Administer time bookings
- Raise purchase requisitions
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain manuals and documentation
- Support audit requirements
- Ensure compliance with IT policies
Minimum Requirements
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Systems
- Excel qualification or certification
- Basic IT knowledge and proficiency
Preferred:
- Microsoft 365 certifications
- ERP systems experience (especially IFS)
- SharePoint admin knowledge
Experience and Skills
- Minimum 1 year experience in IT environment
- Strong skills in Microsoft 365 Suite and Excel
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems and IT infrastructure
- Ability to troubleshoot, document processes, and deliver user training
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
