King Charles pays tribute to 67 victims killed in tragic DC crash after Black Hawk chopper hit American Airlines plane

KING Charles is “profoundly shocked and saddened” by the Washington DC aviation disaster which left 67 people dead.

America is continuing to mourn the victims of the crash on Wednesday after an American Airlines plane collided with a military helicopter.

The King said in a statement released through Buckingham Palace: “Our hearts, and our special thoughts, are with the people of the United States and our deepest sympathy goes to the families and loved ones of all the victims.

“I would also like to pay a particular tribute to the emergency responders who acted so quickly to this horrendous event.”

On Wednesday evening, the American Airlines plane smashed into a Black Hawk helicopter that was flying in the middle of its descent path.

It’s the deadliest US air crash since November 2001.
