It is the first time the big tournament has been held in the UK.

Kabaddi is India’s second-biggest sport after cricket – and the national sport of Bangladesh – and sees players ‘raid’ the opposition half to earn points.

It is believed to have been invented around 4,000 years ago and is traditionally played outdoors on grass or clay, although it will be indoors on mats this week.

England and Scotland have both men and women’s teams playing.

India won both competitions at the last World Cup and remain favourites to win the top prize again.

The best part of the competition is that every match can be live streamed for FREE in the UK.
