Jen’s feeling threatened and looking nervously over her shoulder at Ellen, who she’s avoided like the plague for decades

Have Jennifer Aniston and Ellen Pompeo been at odds for years?
Yes, they have! The two leading ladies have reportedly been locked in a quiet rivalry for years, it is being said. It all goes back to the early 2000s when Pompeo’s breakout role in Grey’s Anatomy shot her to fame just as Aniston’s Friends era was winding down. With their similar blonde looks, and undeniable star power, comparisons were inevitable as the industry pit the two against each other.
Fast forward to today, the bitterness still persists. Word is, she’s been keeping a close eye on Pompeo’s eight-episode project. The RadarOnline source further claimed,
Even though they have shared team members over the years and have a handful of mutual friends in the industry, there’s always been a tension between these two that dates right back to Ellen’s breakthrough in 2003 to 2004, which coincided with Jen winding down her 10-year run on Friends.

They further added,
That’s only grown in the two decades since – and with Ellen and Jen both branching out into big streaming projects in 2025, Jen is watching her back and being more protective than ever of what she’s built and continues to grow with The Morning Show.
The new Hulu show is based on the true story of Natalia Grace, a young girl with a rare form of dwarfism who was adopted in 2010 by Kristine and Michael Barnett. Pompeo, plays Kristine Barnett.
With Pompeo’s series going head-to-head with Aniston’s, fans are excited to see how this all turns out!
