ELLIE SCOTNEY may have been signed by superstar Jake Paul – but her commute to training will always keep her humble.
The unified super-bantamweight champion was signed to Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions alongside Savannah Marshall and Chantelle Cameron.

And she makes her promotional debut on Friday as part of Netflix’s all-women’s card headlined by Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.
But before Scotney jetted off to the Big Apple for her unification bout against Yamileth Mercado – she put the hard yards in camp with coach Shane McGuigan.
And perhaps the most exhausting task of all was simply getting to McGuigan’s Kent gym for the Queen of Catford.
She told SunSport: “Listen, still on the busses and the trains! Two trains, a tube and a bus. Ellie Scotney’s Ms TFL out here.”
Scotney tried her luck by sending Paul a message on Instagram but the YouTuber-turned-boxer – who has nearly 30 MILLION followers – ignored it.
But fortunately, Paul’s right-hand man and MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian did check his messages.
Scotney, 27, joked: “He’s actually read it now! That’s even worse. I’d rather be in his requests. But Nakisa came through and he opened it.
“I just dropped Nakisa a message and everything kind of fell into place for me. It’s been a bit of a mad one but I’m enjoying every second.”

Scotney will find herself somewhat conflicted on Friday’s trilogy bout main event between Taylor and Serrano.
Irish icon Taylor is Scotney’s boxing hero while Serrano is part of the MVP family and a mentor to those she shares the stable with.
Serrano met Scotney in New York after her signing was announced.
And Scotney revealed: “She embraced us and told me she’s someone who’s like, ‘Look what I’ve done – I want you to go on and do more.’
“She’s that sort of character and I think that’s shown one, in her boxing and two, how she represents herself outside.
“She’s taken us all under her wing and she’s a wholesome soul.”
Scotney has her eyes on undisputed glory at 8st 10lb – and believes she is in the right place to achieve it – but it starts on Friday at Madison Square Garden.
She said: “I think it’s everyone’s dream and I’m two fights away but I’ve got a hard fight in front of me July 11th and I’ll be going in to make a statement.
“Although I’m a unified champion, I never really got what comes with it. Whereas this is supplying that.
“It’s one thing saying you want it, now it’s in my hands I’ve got to run away with it and that’s what I’ll be doing July 11th.”
