IRELAND AM star Muireann O’Connell has revealed the “awful” reason she got in trouble with viewers on St Patrick’s Day.
The Limerick lady, who is renowned for her sensational TV looks, left some fans upset at her outfit on the big day last year.

Muireann is consistently sharing behind-the-scenes snippets of herself getting ready for the show on Instagram.
Today the 41-year-old revealed that she had “forgot” her outfit for the programme, so had to muster up an alternative option.
The Virgin Media star then recorded herself posing in a bright green skater dress with a low-plunging neckline.
The vibrant frock had a cute collar and a soft ribbed fabric which showed off Muireann’s incredible figure.
But, the popular presenter was not sold on the pop of colour and even went as far as to call the dress “awful.”
Muireann penned in her caption: “Went to the Paddy’s Day outfit that hadn’t been tried on.
“It’s awful! If you’ve seen any nice green outfits – not online – gimme a shout.”
The TV host then confessed that last year on St Patrick’s Day she left viewers unsatisfied with her lack of green.
She added: “I didn’t wear green last year on Paddy’s Day and people were not happy!”
In the end, the star opted for a beautiful red maxi dress, which she added: “This is one you’ve seen tens of times. Years old!”
The stunning tie waist rose red frock had buttons down the front and a sexy split up the leg.
However, fans were all quick to react to the famous green frock as they took to the comment section.

Yesterday, Muireann apologised to viewers after she noticed an “incredibly annoying” mistake after the show.
She came onto her Instagram Stories to apologise saying: “Not a shirt steamed for the telly this morning, I am just after noticing.
“An absolute disgrace. That must of been incredibly annoying to look at… as if I’m not annoying enough to look at as it already is already.
“So I’m very sorry about that lads. I didn’t do the lovely polka-dot shirt justice… sorry!”
