As Jessica Alba re-enters the dating scene for the first time in 20 years, insiders allege that men are already trying everything they can to get her attention. However, as she starts to date again, insiders also alleged that she’s looking for a type of guy that’s completely opposite her ex-husband Cash Warren: she seemingly wants to date a fellow celebrity!
Insiders recently told Life and Style Magazine that Alba is “ready to have some fun back in her life,” and fans “can expect to see her at a lot more events and out a lot more.”
Not only that, but amid her social butterfly era, her friends are trying to convince her to date a fellow A-lister. The insiders said, “It will be to socialize and network but also to meet quality guys. No doubt plenty of high-profile men will use the classic Hollywood way and have their managers reach out to her team and go that route, and she will be open to that. She’s not ruling out dating a regular guy, but she’s taking her friends’ advice and plans to try dating someone at her level of celebrity. They’re all telling her that it will be a better power balance and rule out some of the issues she had with Cash.”
While Alba’s ex Warren is a film producer, he’s not as well-known to the public as Alba is. And according to insiders, that may have added some tension. (In fact, Warren even talked about how all the attention she got made him insecure, leading up to their first breakup, in an interview with Jana Kramer’s Whine Down podcast!)
So in her new romance, Alba wants someone who understands the highs and lows of being a public A-list actor. Talk about a future power couple on the horizon!
While none of this will be happening until after her divorce is finalized, insiders alleged to the outlet that “guys are already staking their claim now that she’s eligible.” So time will tell who Alba will fall for!
So, back in 2004, Alba and Warren met while filming Fantastic Four and married only four years later. Despite breaking up after four years together, they got back together and seemed quite happy. The pair share three children together named Honor Marie, born in June 2008, Haven Garner, born in Aug 2011, and Hayes, born in Dec 2017.
Then, the pair sparked divorce rumors when Alba was spotted without her wedding ring in late 2024. The divorce was confirmed in 2025 when Alba shared an update on her Instagram, saying, “I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash. I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
On Feb 2025, Alba filed for divorce after 16 yers of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences and listing their date of separation as Dec. 27, 2024
