‘I’m exhausted’, admits Brian Dowling as he jets off on family holiday after QUTTING radio show

BRIAN Dowling has admitted he is “exhausted” after jetting off on a family holiday following his radio show announcement.

Earlier this month, The Six O’Clock show host revealed he would be leaving his 98FM radio show after two years on air.

Brian finished up his final show on the station on Friday, June 6 and admitted he “couldn’t wait” to have a “slow summer” with his family.

The popular presenter will still host The Six O’Clock Show alongside Katja Mia on weekdays and has nearly wrapped season two of the Salvage Squad.

After the news broke that the Big Brother star was stepping aside from his radio duties, Brian decided to jet over to Spain with his husband and kids.

However, travelling with two kids under two is not the relaxing sun holiday the host had dreamed of.

Taking to Instagram, the 47-year-old wrote: “Day two was all about naps, good food, playing in the pool, creating memories & Blake’s very first kiddies disco.

“Honestly it didn’t go to well & only wanted to be on the stage when everyone else was off it.”

The TV star confessed that he has felt “exhausted” every day since they landed, but added: “I feel like the minute you slow down, your body will be OK, OK!!”

Brian attached a selection of vibrant holiday snaps, with one adorable selfie of himself and his hubby Arthur Gourounlian.

The famous couple were glowing as the sun set behind them.

Arthur donned a mustard coloured shirt with a fun pineapple print while Brian rocked a rainbow crochet top.

In another photo Brian attempted to have a nap in the sun with his daughter Blu on his lap.

The cute duo looked super peaceful as they panned out across a sun bed on the beach.

Brian’s two-year-old, Blake looked happy-as-ever as she tried a strawberry ice cream cone in a separate picture.

Baby Blu gave some serious bed head energy as Brian snapped a photo of her waking up in their hotel.

The Dublin native paid an emotional tribute to Blu today as she celebrated her first birthday.

In a heartfelt message on his social media, Brian penned: “Our @gourounlian baby Blu is 1 today. You arrived in our lives two weeks early, & let’s just say our lives haven’t been the same since.

You completed us in a way I didn’t think was possible. We already had your sister, Blake, who was only 21 months old, but you ABSOLUTELY ROCKED our world in the BEST POSSIBLE WAY!!

The doting dad over his “kind” little girl and gushed: “Our baby Blu, we all love you so very much. Thank you for turning Blake into the BEST BIG SISTER EVER.”
