RTE Fair City viewers have all been left “cringing” after Dean and Mairead enjoyed a steamy moment.
As Dean and Mairead looked forward to their getaway in tonight’s show, Tommy kept their affair secret from Leo.
When Dean’s van broke down enroute to their romantic getawat, he and Mairead seized the opportunity for some alone time in the back.
Dean and Mairead narrowly missed being caught by Leo, but his suspicions were stil raised.
Mairead and Dean admitted they’ve fallen for one another, but they reluctantly agreed to stick to their plan for Damien’s sake.
And RTE viewers were quick to react to the racy moment as they took to Twitter.
Sylvia wrote: “OMG in the van, I’m cringing.”
Niall said: “Dean and Mairead in the van? STOP.”
William joked: “Dean really knows how to show a woman a good time.”
While Sinead remarked: “God Mairead is really slumming it now.”
Elsewhere in Carrigstown, Liam decided to take Carol’s advice about sorting things with Fergal.
Liam made progress with Fergal when he apologised for his actions surrounding the site, but Jacinta intervened.
Fergal then warned Jacinta to butt out of his affairs.
Later on, Liam was left stunned when Fergal laid out the terms for a lasting peace agreement – fire Rayno and ensure he goes to prison.
However, Liam refused to do Fergal’s bidding, no matter the cost.
Joan then gloated to Fergal that she was right about Liam all along.
Meanwhile, at Carol’s request an uncertain Sharon agreed to hold off on her decision about taking Liam on as a lodger.

Carol discovered Liam’s stubbornness regarding Fergal and sick of his arrogance, washed her hands of him.
While that was happening, James was irritated by Gwen’s friendship with Emma.
Gwen enjoyed winding James up, but he refused to back out of their deal.
Separately, Sash was thrown when Maxine pushes their date forward.
