Whether you wore them like rings or added them to your sandwich, who wasn’t a childhood fan of Hula Hoops?

From the classic cheese and onion to the beloved BBQ beef, the brand has a variety of options available.

And now they are adding a classic British flavour to the mix: Smoky Bacon.

Already available with Walkers and Pringles, the taste is a proven favourite of the British public.

And it isn’t Hula Hoops first venture into the nostalgia-inspired territory.

They previously released a similar flavour, Sizzling Bacon, in previous years.

Adventurous fans could also pick up the limited edition Bacon and Ketchup flavour in the early 2000s.

Smoky Bacon Hula Hoops will be available on Asda shelves from March 31.

Morrisons will also stock the new addition from May 19.

Both supermarkets will supply the crisps in a six-pack multipack at a RRP of £2.35.

“We’re incredibly excited to add the classic Smoky Bacon flavour to the Hula Hoops lineup,” said Sasha Finan, Brand Manager at Hula Hoops.

“Being such an iconic flavour, Smoky Bacon is sure to delight both long-time fans and newcomers alike.

“At Hula Hoops, we’re all about adding joyful fun to snacking moments, and this tasty new addition is perfect for shaking up your mealtimes.”

The new Hula Hoops flavour comes as Walkers announce the return of the beloved Worchester Sauce crisps.

And if you’ve grown past wearing Hula Hoops on your fingers while you snack, one etiquette expert has revealed another unique way of enjoying the crisps.

William Hanson divided opinion when he recommended eating the circular crisps with a spoon.

The Mirror reported on the face of Sainsbury’s Smart Charge campaign as he branded the popular five-finger Hula Hoop method as “not correct etiquette”.

Instead, he suggested using a spoon to lift the crisps from a bowl, before eating them with your hand.

According to the expert, this unique technique helps to stop the spread of germs.

He added that eating the crisps from a bowl “elevates it and makes it a bit more of an occasion, rather than just sitting there and eating them out of a greasy bag”.

“I don’t eat a lot of crisps, but if I do, I still put them in a little ramekin,” he said.
