I was a teen mum but now have four kids at 22… trolls say it’s ‘not a flex’ but I’m as good a mum as anyone older

A WOMAN has hit back at brutal trolls who reckon that having four kids at 22 is ”not a flex”.

Angie Faith – who at 22 is now a mum to four wonderful kids – first found out she was expecting with her now-hubby Jordon when she was just 15.

Despite some people warning Angie that it wasn’t likely to end well – with many even suggesting ”abortion” – the couple went through with the pregnancy and welcomed their little girl Nevaeh, now six.

Angie and Jordon – who tied the knot the day after her 16th birthday – went on to bring their son Hudson into the world when she was 17.

The parents then tragically lost five babies through miscarriage, before falling pregnant with baby number three – Finley, who was born in 2022.

Detailing their family’s backstory when she was expecting with Finley to join the brood, mum-to-be Angie explained: “We met at [Jordon’s] birthday party.

“One of our mutual friends asked him if I could come and that’s how we met.”

The young couple then fell for one another and, just a few months later, Angie broke the news that she’d fallen pregnant, despite being on birth control.

According to the loved-up pair, they took eight tests before they fully believed the news.

Angie explained: “I’m not sure why it didn’t work for us, but we were meant to have a kid at that point.”

She later added: “If somebody told me they were pregnant at 15, I would definitely be shocked as well. I knew that we weren’t going to get the best reactions from people.”

Sharing the unfair criticism her for being a teen mum, Angie previously admitted: “Everyone had a different reaction when we told them we were pregnant.”

She continued in the interview with Truly for their series ‘Love Don’t Judge’: “[There was] a lot of anger, shock and disappointment.

“A lot of people suggested we not go through with it, or give her up for adoption.”

Angie added: “The judgement can be hard. I was still very young and in school when I found out I was pregnant, so I lost everybody that I was close to because we no longer had the same lives.”

Meanwhile, keyboard warriors on the internet have been quick to have their say and have not held back with their strong opinions.

UK Teen Mum Statistics

Teen pregnancies in the UK have been decreasing considerably since 2007…

The under-18 conception rate has decreased considerably since 2007, reports Nuffield Trust.

Between 2007 and 2021, the under-18 conception rate in England and Wales decreased by 68%, from 42 per 1,000 women to 13 per 1,000 women.

This resulted in 13,131 under-18 conceptions in England and Wales in 2021.

Opening up her comments to TikTok, Angie revealed that one troll recently advised her to go on ”birth control”, as many insisted that having four kids at 22 was ”not a flex”.

Another troll wondered: ”Why do people think it’s is trendy to have as many kids as possible at the youngest age possible. It’s not a competition.”

”That’s not a flex. That’s poor family planning,” someone else chimed in.

”Why is she proud?” read another mean comment that’s been liked more than 5,000 times.

Angie – who said becoming a mum has changed her for the better – previously said: “The miscarriages have taught me to just be grateful for the kids that I have. I always wanted a big family.”

The mum-of-four – who maintained that age doesn’t make you a good parent – added she couldn’t be happier to have a big family at a young age.
