THE weather has been scorching lately, and if you have been struggling to keep kids entertained, a £9.99 purchase may solve both issues.
A mum shared how she picked up a bargain splash pad from TikTok Shop, which her child was obsessed with.

Livia, who posts under @livia_tov, uploaded a clip showing how she picked up the inflatable item for under a tenner.
The yellow round pad has a wave edge and is decorated by fun aquatic creatures.
Describing it as “absolutely humongous”, she said it is perfect for a “few hours of peace.”
In a clip, she shared: “How brilliant is this sprinkle pad? I love it. Just £9.99.”
“My son is nearly 5 and he’s really tall, and this fits a lot. A couple of kids, I would say.
Look at how brilliant it is.”
All you need to do is inflate the edge, and then attach a hose to the nozzle.
When you turn the water on, it squirts water sprinkles around the outside, and you can also create a mini pool in the middle too.
She continued: “And then you’ve got the splash pad, which is inside there. And look, it’s actually quite deep as well, so absolutely amazing.
“If you wanna keep the sprinklers on, or if you just wanna turn them off, it can be used as a paddling pool.”
She said you can add water toys to make the pool more exciting for kids, but said it is “honestly so fun”.
In the caption, she wrote: “Amazing for this heatwave, so glad I got this last month.
“We use ours with and without the hose and it’s amazing.”

People were quick to comment, with one saying they also loved theirs.
They wrote: “My granddaughter loves her, best tenner I’ve ever spent.”
It’s not the only water item that is proving to be a big hit this summer.

A mum has revealed she bought two splash pads from Temu and TikTok shop for her kids to compare, and one was a clear winner.
Kassie shared how the Temu pad cost £10 and the TikTok shop one cost £9.99, so they were similar prices to compare.
However, they were very different in size.
On her @_kassieg account, the mum shared: “Temu one cost £10, my mum got it and expected it to be bigger and that is what we got.
“TikTok shop [product] cost £9.99 with free delivery and is bloody massive!!”
