It has been almost a decade since the Duffer Brothers’ Stranger Things premiered and escalated Netflix’s takeover of the streaming business. But on top of boosting the platform’s numbers, the show delivered a truly exceptional ensemble cast, starring the likes of Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, and Sadie Sink.

Even though Sink didn’t exactly enjoy the most exquisite fanfare upon her debut, her character has come a long way since, especially with season 4. Reflecting on one terrifying scene from season 4, Sink recently recounted experiencing it in its entirety for the first time.
Sadie Sink never realized Dear Billy‘s full scope until she watched it in its entirety

In season 4, the Duffer brothers really went all in with the show’s horror roots, and unfortunately, Max had to be at the center of it all. Episode 4, Dear Billy, often considered the very best the show has to offer, sees Max narrowly escaping death, thanks to her favorite song, Running Up That Hill, which contributes to the levitating scene from the show.
As for Sadie Sink’s viewpoint on the entire sequence, similar to fans, the actress too was awestruck by it, as prior to experiencing the scene along with her family, she was never able to grasp the entire scope of the sequence. She recalled (via Happy Sad Confused):
I watched it with my family just at home and everyone was kind of just like my whole family was just like speechless and they were like ‘Whoa’, and for me I was like ‘Whoa’ too like ‘This is so cool’. But also everything in that sequence was shot like months apart like, and so scattered throughout the years. So seeing it all come together in that one episode, I was like ‘Oh, I don’t know how, like I don’t even remember filming that part’.
Even though the fate of Max remains up in the air, considering the Duffer brothers didn’t kill her off when they had the chance, the chances of her coming back from the coma are certainly not off the cards.
Sadie Sink on her reported MCU casting

Sadie Sink‘s fame hasn’t been just limited to the boundaries of Netflix, as apart from starring alongside Brandan Fraser in The Whale, the actress is now set to appear in the highly anticipated Spider-Man 4.
Although nothing official has been unveiled regarding her MCU role yet, per reports, she will be headlining Jean Grey, a character Sink is familiar with. When posed with the reports, she responded:
This is news to me. This is news to me. No, I have nothing to say about this. The rumours are really cool, though. It’s an awesome rumour. I know the character. It’s a great character, so that was cool to read.
While it can’t be said for certain if the Jean Grey reports have merit to it or not, given that she didn’t debunk it entirely, similar to her Stranger Things fate, nothing can’t be dismissed.
Stranger Things is available to stream on Netflix.
