But social media users were left divided by the trick – whilst some thought it was ‘excellent’, not everyone was as on board[/caption]

Becky, a UGC and lifestyle content creator from the UK recently took to social media to share how she paints her new build home

The brunette beauty claimed that instead of using a paint roller or brushes, she opts for a paint pad, which she bought from Argos.

Whilst you can nab a paint pad set for just £8, making Becky’s trick super purse-friendly, if you’re seriously strapped for cash, you can even use your old Flash mop – and it’s sure to do the trick.

Posting online, the savvy woman shared a short clip demonstrating her simple hack – and it’s left many totally stunned.

Alongside the video, Becky penned: “PSA: You find a paint pad and no longer need a roller.”

Becky uploaded her clip with the caption ‘Why had I never heard of these before?!’ and described using a paint pad, which is strikingly similar to a Flash mop, as ‘Literally the quickest thing to use EVER!’

The DIY fan claimed that she was “really impressed” with her “amazing” hack, as she shared: “I actually found it quicker than I expected to be honest.”

Not only was she “mind blown” with how simple the trick is, but she also explained: “[It] definitely left less mess which is always a win!”

Becky’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @boos_home, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 183,500 views, 899 likes and 91 comments in just 16 hours.

But social media users were divided by Becky’s unique DIY method – whilst many thought it was ‘excellent’ and were desperate to give it a try, not everyone was as on board.

One person said: “I need to get one.”

Another added: “Why have I never seen one of these before! Amazing.”

Despite this, others were eager to know more about the trick, as one DIY enthusiast wondered: “Is it as quick as a roller? Looks so small, doesn’t it take much longer?”

In response, Becky confirmed: “It is as quick as a roller, I am just using a smaller version but it’s the same size as a roller.”

Not only this, but someone else asked: “Does it end up patchy?”

To this, Becky replied: “I’ll let you know, it’s currently drying.”
