Heather Rae El Moussa just gave her 3 million followers a look inside her mourning routine with her 1-year-old son Tristan, and it’s as endearing as it is impressive. Somehow, the HGTV star is able to accomplish so much between 7 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
After waking up her sleepy little guy — who looks so cuddly and cozy in his crib — they head to the living room where they do jumping “squats” together. (Read: She does jumping squats while holding Tristan’s hands and he just bounces around.)
By 7:13 a.m., the two are on the couch, doing a “Cheers!” with their breakfast smoothies.
El Moussa — who shares Tristan and stepkids Brayden and Taylor with husband Tarek El Moussa — then lets her youngest play with his plethora of toy vehicles 20 minutes later. The towheaded cutie is quick to dump them all out (sigh) on the carpet and get to work.
An hour later, the mother-son duo went outside for a walk. It was a bit of a dreary morning, but Tristan made the best of it when he found a puddle to splash in. He looked oh-so-happy when he ran through the water.
“My mornings with my mini man are everything. 🤍,” El Moussa captioned her video.

And that’s not all. At 10 a.m., the two are “learning yoga.” In the clip, the star of The Flipping El Moussas shows her “mini man” a Warrior 1 pose, which he “copies” by standing with his feet together and his arms straight up. She then demonstrates a tree pose and Tristan stumbles around, trying to put one foot on the other knee. Ultimately, they just take each other’s hands and start spinning in a circle.
By 10:27, the two are sitting on the couch and snuggling with blissful grins on their faces.
“We fit so much into such little time.. toddler mamas, how are we doing? 😂💕,” El Moussa concluded.
And she wasn’t kidding when she said “so much.” To recap, they got through three forms of exercise (squat jumps, walking, and yoga), drank some smoothies, played with cars and trucks galore, and even got some snuggles in.
… How?! That is seriously impressive.
One toddler mom chimed in and said, “Mama is worn out 😮💨 😆.” And we’re sure El Moussa sometimes feels that way too. Let’s be real: Some mornings call for fewer squats and more screen time.
Another follower was jealous of the TV personality’s time with her mini man. “Miss those days! 🥲 I remember being so exhausted but they were the best times of my life. Cherish it. ❤️”
Those few hours before a morning nap might get tough, but they make for some pretty amazing core memories.
